Many of us have heard “A picture is worth a thousand words”. If you have ever had the pleasure of admiring the work of Debbie Wallace, her pictures could write a book. Photography is used as evidence that we exist, and one person can create a universe in a single moment, making it eternal. Debbie has mastered the art of capturing tangible realities putting them into an intangible existence where the essence of a moment is defined in a single frame. She has an extraordinary eye for bringing a different perspective to the world through a solitary lens that if you look through it, it’s as though you are really there. “Some of the world’s greatest moments can only be told in a photograph.”

Sitting in her living room in Nashville, TN, Debbie recalls the infamous words of her first mentor, Mike Morgan, whom she knew in her home-town; “If you don’t get this right, you’re going to have to move back in with your parents”. Mike had been a photographer for National Geographic and those were all the encouraging words Debbie needed to hear to motivate her to be a successful photographer.

Debbie has spent her years in Nashville building her business one client at a time. “When I first moved to Nashville in the mid 90′s, I really had more of an interest in the music side of things and photography was more of a hobby, even though I had taken photography courses. I had friends in bands like Sodium, The Groove Addiction and The Warren Brother’s, so I would take pictures for them just for fun”. Well, fun turned out to be a lucrative career. After a few years taking pictures for friends, Debbie eventually met Ruta and John Sepetys, with Sepetys Entertainment Group. Ruta and John booked Debbie to photograph artists such as Steve Vai, Eric Sardinas and Rhansum, to name a few.

After working with Sepetys Entertainment Group, Debbie has gone on to photograph live shows featuring major musical icons such as: Kid Rock, Tim McGraw, Willie Nelson, Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Jamey Johnson, Aaron Tippin, Lee Brice,  Randy Houser, Keith Anderson, Blackhawk, Halfway to Hazard ,LIT, Snoop Dogg, Alice Cooper, Lzzy Hale(Halestorm), Nelson, Kip Winger, Mark Slaughter, Kelly Keagey from “Night Ranger”, Ryan Cook from “Hair of the Dog”, Transiberan Orchestra, Thee Rock 'N' Roll Residency, some of the band members from Cinderella, and countless others. Debbie has 20 Country Music album covers under her belt and has been published in Žmonės Magazine, Country Weekly and People Magazine. Her work has also been featured on NBC's The Voice, Fox and Friends and The Today Show.

She has also photographed for Steeple Chase, The Parade of Homes at the Governor’s Club, as well as, magazine covers for “In the Gym” and “World Champion”, and high fashion designers Randy Willard, Justine Sylvie and Catalina. She has donated her time and expertise to a charity for foster kids, STARS (Students Taking A Right Stand) Stars and Guitars, and for the annual “Music for a Cure”, concert in Nashville, to raise money for cancer.  She is currently  the event photographer for the annual Crockettsville Charity Concert and Trail Ride to benefit the Buckhorn Children Center in Eastern KY. Debbie continues to regularly sub-contract nation-wide for weddings, live shows for artists and celebrities, along with photographing families, newborns and high school senior portraits.
